Reconstitution Calculator
Independent arithmetic tool for hypothetical research calculations. This does not establish a safe dose, route, preparation method, sterility, or suitability for human use.
Work in either direction.
Hypothetical arithmetic only. No physical draw instructions.
Enter the target amount in mcg or mg.
Define the calculation
Hypothetical quantities, with explicit units.
Your mathematical result
Calculate to inspect the conversion.
Enter the hypothetical quantities and choose Calculate. Results stay on this device.
Mathematical result
Theoretical conversion, not a measurement instruction.
Proportion only; this is not a syringe scale.
Follow the arithmetic
U-100 means 100 syringe units per 1 mL. Calculated units are theoretical; they are not proof that a physical syringe can measure the volume accurately. Do not round a dose to a mark or split a draw based on this tool.
Scenario comparison
Up to three hypothetical calculations in this tab. Inputs are not stored or sent. Revise a saved scenario to load its original inputs, then calculate again; remove any column independently.
Rows marked Different contain different stored inputs or results. Scroll horizontally on smaller screens.
Calculation method
Concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mg × 1,000 ÷ diluent mL. Volume (mL) = target mcg ÷ concentration. U-100 units = volume × 100. Full theoretical doses = floor(vial mcg ÷ target mcg).
Values are computed with decimal integers rather than binary floating-point. No patient data or calculations are sent to a server.
